Raising Children without a Parenting Manual

Sundays in My City – Before the Rains

We’ve been suffering a pretty severe drought of late, but the rains have come along with the month of May, as they always do.
They say when the Yellow Poui is in full blossom, the rains will come.

I’m blessed to see that tree on the way to work every morning.
I took the family to cool off at the beach the other day. Everyone had a great time…
Kayaking in Williams Bay, Chaguaramas.

On this day, there was lots of food and drink on sale.

And after all that food, we were glad to laze under the shade of these big old trees,
while the kids still had energy to run and play.

Lots of open space to run and play, and enjoy being kids.

We were sorry we had to leave when the sun started going down…

…but we promised to do it again soon.
