Giveaways!
I think my favourite new and unexpected thing in the world of blogging is Giveaways! Is it just because it’s back to school time, or are they always this abundant? I found one I love at The Shopping Mama. It’s a Get Cool for School PRESCHOOL giveaway.
It features the always adorable See Kai Run shoes, but also showcases 2 stores I’d never heard of until now:
Happy Green Bee and Stephen Joseph Gifts.
Happy Green Bee sells organic children’s clothing, in some cheery colour combinations. I like the fact that the clothes are functional kids clothes, not adult clothes offered in kids’ sizes. I like that. They’re going to grow up fast enough. Take full advantage of being a kid, kiddies!
I think my favourite thing on the site though, is the Abbee doll. It’s cloth doll dressed in trademark HappyGreenBee clothes. It is so cute! When I was little, my grandmother made me a cloth doll and a matching quilt. I am not sure when the doll and I parted ways, but I did love her. I took her everywhere. The quilt I had til it was threadbare. My mom eventually threw it out. Sigh.
Ok so the other site is Stephen Joseph Gifts. They have some lovely gift items – check out this Quilted Duffle Bag. I saw some very creative products on the site, and I definitely will be exploring more!
